Covid Customer Guidance
Customer Guidance

-
Do not travel if you are experiencing any Coronavirus symptoms. These include a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
-
Advise us immediately if you have been contacted by the Track and Trace system with reference to recent contact with someone who has developed covid-19 as you will not be permitted to travel.
-
Please note that for Test and Trace purposes we are required by law to record a name and contact number for all customers travelling. Information is collected solely for this purpose will be held for 21 days before being destroyed and will only be used if we are required to provide information to Track and Trace. You will be asked to use the NHS app on boarding. Where passengers do not have the app, a name and contact number will be taken. This will only apply should passengers be joining the boat without booking in advance. Passengers who have booked in advance will have their details on record.
-
Please be patient as loading and disembarking the boat may take longer than usual.
-
Crewmembers will escort passengers to their seats. Please keep to your designated seat throughout your cruise.
-
Passengers who have been double-vaccinated will be required to show cards or certificates to show that they have received two vaccinations (or letter or equivalent for Scotland).
-
For passengers who have not had two vaccinations, or if the second vaccination was administered less than 14 days ago, a negative covid test result must be proved prior to boarding. Please could passengers take a lateral flow test on the morning of their cruise and take a photo of the negative result on their mobile phone. This will also record the time and date and can be checked by our staff prior to boarding. These tests can be obtained free of charge from chemists and results are available within 30 minutes of taking the test. This also applies for children please. Please note that if you have had the vaccinations then you do not also need to take a test.
-
Any passenger who has not had a test within 24 hours must pay £40.00 for a test at the kiosk and must arrive at the boat at least 45 minutes prior to the booked departure. Please advise us in advance if you require this option so that our crew can prepare.
-
If any passenger is found to be positive for Covid then the cruise will be cancelled.
-
To protect passengers, our crewmembers and boatmasters will take a lateral flow test at the start of every day or evening cruise. They will stay 2 metres apart till they get confirmation of a negative result. Should a positive result happen then the crew member will be re-tested. If the positive result is confirmed the cruise will be cancelled and you will be advised of any options. The boat will then be heavy Covid cleaned. Attempts will be made to offer a later timed cruise or an alternative cruise day.
-
All passengers boarding must wear masks until seated. They must use the hand gel provided and they must not leave the table unless authorised by a member of crew. If leaving the table to visit the toilet, a mask must be worn.
-
All crew will wear masks and/or face shield.
